This is my photoshop picture. The first thing I did was add a yellow gradient. I chose a light color because I wanted to make the picture look errie. Next, I used the magnetic lasso tool to insert the picture of my friend Cassie and I. After I did that, I decided to make the picture black and white. After making the photo black and white, I played around with the contrast and saturation to give us a more ghostly appearence. I used the blur tool to get rid of the rough edges. The brush tool to got rid of our eyes and the paint brush tool to put red in their place. The article I found is entitled "Give Counterfeit Reality a Closer Look." One thing that the article discusses are child pornography cases. In these cases defendants argue that a child may not even be real. Therefore, no one really knows if the defendant is guilty or innocent. The article also discusses things that the government should do to correct this problem because it is getting increasingly difficult to recognize counterfeit images. Photoshop gives people the ability to manipulate a photo completely. Look at the photo to the left. I found it on Google. The manipulation was probably done for fun and is pretty harmless. It relates to my article, because instead of aging down, this person decided to age Angelina Jolie up.
