One thing I learned that I never knew before was that depending on what computer you used, a presentation may show up differently. It would be a good idea to pull up your presentation on more than one computer. Another thing I did not know was that newspapers should not be used in academic papers. I had always been under teh impression that they could be used as long as they were from a respectable newspaper. A third piece of information that I did not know was that you have to be careful with .edu sites because a student can put their own work on their .edu page.
These were just a few of the things I learned after listening to Chris Nolan speak to us.
